Q’eswachaka Hand-Woven Bridge

Immerse yourself in a fascinating cultural journey through the South Valley of Cusco. This unique expedition takes you off the beaten path to witness an architectural marvel of living history: the Q’eswachaka Bridge. Spanning 28.67 meters across the dramatic Apurimac River canyon, this sacred structure is entirely hand-woven out of ichu plant fibers every single year by local communities, keeping an ancient 500-year-old Inca tradition alive.

Beyond the bridge, you will cross contrasting Andean landscapes, from the small craters of the Los Pabellones mini-volcano to the tranquil shores of four interconnected natural lagoons. This tour offers the perfect combination of deep local folklore, historical weight, and scenic high-Andean beauty.
