Hotel Pickup & National Museum (Ministry of Culture)
We pick you up directly from your hotel or Airbnb accommodation in Lima. Our first stop takes us to the San Borja district to visit the National Museum (Museo de la Nación) inside the Ministry of Culture complex. Here, you’ll receive a core overview of Peru’s ancient cultural horizons, mapping out the chronological evolution of pre-Inca civilizations.
Larco Museum Guided Tour
We head over to the historic Pueblo Libre district to step inside the world-famous Larco Museum, housed in an elegant 18th-century vice-royal mansion built over a 7th-century pyramid. Enjoy a premium guided tour through its phenomenal galleries, displaying the finest pre-Columbian gold and silver collections, masterfully preserved textiles, and its famous unique gallery of erotic pottery.
Traditional Creole Lunch at Taberna Queirolo
Time to immerse ourselves in Limeño culinary history. We take a lunch stop at the legendary Antigua Taberna Queirolo, a historic tavern with over 100 years of heritage. Here, you can relax and purchase from a delicious menu of authentic Creole cuisine, paired with classic Pisco drinks or local wines inside an atmosphere frozen in time.
National Archaeology, Anthropology & History Museum
Just across from the beautiful Plaza Bolívar in Pueblo Libre, we enter the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology, and History of Peru—the country’s oldest state museum. We will spend time exploring its grand colonial architectural features and viewing stone monuments from Chavín and Tiwanaku cultures, offering a moments to relax and admire the preserved architecture of the era.
Huaca Pucllana Museum & Drop-off
To conclude our historic loop, our private transport takes us to the modern district of Miraflores. We visit the Huaca Pucllana site museum to understand the specialized administrative life and customs of the ancient Lima Culture (200–700 AD) right beside its towering adobe pyramid.
