Our city loop begins with a convenient pickup directly from your hotel or Airbnb accommodation in Miraflores or Barranco (approx. 08:00 AM for the morning shift or 02:00 PM for the afternoon shift). Step aboard our shared tourist transport to meet your group and specialized local guide.
Miraflores Coastal Exploration & Huaca Pucllana Overview
We start our tour exploring much of the magnificent and beautiful district of Miraflores. We will make scenic stops along the green cliffs of the Miraflores Boardwalk so you can capture pictures with the beautiful coastal scenery at Love Park and the Navy Lighthouse. Afterward, we will pause for a brief historical explanation next to the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site, a majestic pre-Inca adobe pyramid standing right in the middle of modern architecture.
San Francisco Convent & Subterranean Catacombs
Next, we depart for the Historic Center of Lima. Upon arrival, we dive underground to visit the remarkable Convent of San Francisco de Asís and venture down to explore its famous subterranean catacombs, which served as a massive public cemetery during the Spanish viceroyalty period.
Colonial Walk: Plaza de Armas & Plaza San Martín
We enjoy a majestic panoramic view of the republican architecture of Plaza San Martín before taking a steady historical walk across the famous pedestrian corridor of Jirón de la Unión. Our walk opens up directly into the Plaza de Armas (Main Square), where we will appreciate the landmark Government Palace, the historical Casa del Oidor (House of the Oidor), and the magnificent Lima Cathedral structure. There will be plenty of time for photos and buying crafts before boarding our transport back to the southern districts.
