Itinerary
Early Morning Pickup & Southbound Drive
Our coastal escape begins early. We pick you up directly from your hotel or Airbnb accommodation in Miraflores or Barranco. We board our shared tourist transportation and embark on a smooth drive south along the Pan-American Highway, taking in views of Chilca and coastal valleys as the sun breaks over the Pacific horizon.
Speedboat Cruise to Ballestas Islands & El Candelabro
We arrive at Paracas Bay and head directly to Puerto del Chaco to board large, secure speedboats for our sea voyage. As we cruise out, we will marvel at the massive, enigmatic Candelabra geoglyph etched into the desert hillside. Continuing to the Ballestas Islands, we will observe an incredible concentration of marine wildlife up close, including colonies of playful sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds, and diverse marine avian species.
Peruvian Sweets Tasting & Vineyard Lunch
Back on the shores, we enjoy a sampling of traditional local Peruvian sweets on the beach. Afterward, our transport takes us inland into the sunny Ica Valley. We visit an authentic winery and vineyard where we’ll learn about traditional production methods, sample high-quality artisan Pisco and regional wines, and take ample time to purchase a delicious traditional lunch.
Huacachina Oasis, Dune Buggies & Sandboarding
We arrive at the famous Huacachina Oasis—rightly known as the oasis of the Americas. After learning about the local legends surrounding the beautiful Huacachina Lagoon, we gear up for a rush of pure adrenaline. We climb into professional dune buggies to blast across the rolling desert dunes, take stunning golden-hour photos, and slide down the sandy peaks on sandboards!
Return Highway Journey to Lima
