Itinerary
We’ll start early today!
Around 4:00 AM, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in our private transport and head to Cusipata for a delicious breakfast.
Once ready, we’ll continue to Llacto, where we’ll begin our hike. It won’t be easy, but it will be completely worth it.
We’ll start with an easy one-hour walk on a flat, not too steep, path, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery typical of the Andean mountains: cool weather, golden grasses, clear skies, fluffy white clouds, and a refreshing breeze that reconnects you with nature. Take it easy; we’ll warm up as we walk. Don’t forget your water bottle!
Step by step, the colors appear among the clouds. The air gets a little cooler than usual, and we know it’s time for the challenging climb: the final stretch to reach our goal. Finally, we see the majestic Rainbow Mountain!
The path gets steeper. We can feel the adrenaline rush and the desire to reach the summit. With one last push, we take those final steps, and we finally make it!
It really does have seven colors! We take a moment to rest, freshen up, and smile with such satisfaction at having achieved our goal: witnessing this natural wonder.
Now at the top, the entire hike was absolutely worth it. Before us is the Rainbow Mountain. Now it’s time for a red scene: the path through the Red Valley. It will take another 30 minutes to descend this breathtaking trail, a route you’ll enjoy!
It’s time to head back! With our hearts full of emotional memories and after capturing the moment in our minds, we begin the return journey. This path will be easy, don’t worry! Our transportation will be waiting to take us to our buffet lunch and back to Cusco at the end.
